Monument Saves The Day!!!

The Washington Monument gained popularity today as it serindipitously saved the lives of many. As we all know, the cranes are taking over the city. This one seemed to have taken on a life of its own. In an attempt to free itself from its planted state, and continue the ultimate plan of power over DC, the crane broke free but was unable to control its movement. It came plummeting in what would have prematurely ended the lives of many Washintonians and tourists as well when the Washington Monument, built to commemorate the legacy of the first president of the United States, saved the day. In what was a very fortunate case of being in the right place at the right time, the Washington Monument broke the fall of the crane, saving hundreds, possibly thousands of lives.

This picture was taken soon after the incident. Not a single soul was hurt, and the crane has been reprimanded.
